Seasonal CDL Class A Driver (Hazmat) - Agricultural Warehouse
We are seeking a safety-focused CDL Class A Driver with Hazmat endorsement to serve as the primary on-site operator at our agricultural retail warehouse. This seasonal role offers a high level of independence and ownership, combining driving, delivery, and warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant product movement. You'll work autonomously while being supported by sales, logistics, operations, and safety teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Transportation & Delivery
Operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver agricultural products, including hazardous materials
Comply with DOT, FMCSA, Hazmat, OSHA, and company safety regulations
Complete pre- and post-trip inspections, driver logs, and delivery documentation
Safely load, secure, transport, and unload products
Provide professional customer service and maintain clean, organized vehicles
Hazmat Handling
Safely handle, transport, and store hazardous materials (e.g., fertilizers, crop protection products)
Ensure proper labeling, placarding, and regulatory documentation
Maintain current Hazmat certification and required safety training
Warehouse Operations
Receive, inspect, pick, stage, and load product shipments
Operate forklifts and material handling equipment
Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with counts
Perform housekeeping and maintain warehouse safety standards
Operational Support
Complete bills of lading and compliance paperwork
Communicate inventory, delivery schedules, and site needs with management
Support basic facility upkeep and security
Qualifications
Valid CDL Class A license with Hazmat endorsement (required)
3+ years commercial driving experience
Clean driving record with strong safety history
Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, Hazmat, and OSHA regulations
Forklift certification or ability to obtain
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Basic computer skills for documentation and inventory
Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly
Work Environment
Combination of driving and warehouse work
Exposure to agricultural and hazardous materials
Seasonal workload with potential extended hours during peak periods
Compensation & Benefits
$24.76 - $33.03 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
