Hiring Regional Manager for WAG Services Colorado

 

  • Ability to speak both English and Spanish is Mandatory

 

Mission: WAG Services is a leading service provider to the agricultural market.  Our primary mission is to protect hay, alfalfa, forage and silage.  Our services include providing state of the art covering solutions, timely installation and removal, along with a rapid response when weather strikes.  Headquartered in Tolleson, Arizona, we have Regions in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Texas.  We are currently hiring for a manager in Colorado.

 

 

Job Overview: These managerial positions will support all aspects of the WAG Services regional operations including:

  • Managing day to day operations
  • Managing existing accounts and securing new business that fits our strategic goals
  • Work with foreman to assure efficient and timely customer service
  • Work with corporate office to assure timely and accurate performance of key business functions are maintained.  To include: order entry, invoicing, collections, payroll, etc.
  • Recruiting and staffing

 

 

These positions require a strong, practical knowledge of agricultural skills and farm management, and a passionate commitment to providing timely crop protection. The manager will provide support for the planning, coordination and implementation of all work and activities at WAG Services.

 

 

Key Requirements:

  • Support of office employees and crews (patiently and respectfully)
  • Coordination with WAG SERVICES staff and its advisory team including monthly reporting
  • Participate in the production of annual plans
  • Maintain WAG SERVICES's standards to ensure the quality of product and service
  • Support planning, ordering and material acquisition; vehicles and maintenance and other requirements
  • Manage to achieve revenue, profit and expense budgets
  • Planning and implementation of weekly service schedule
  • Daily scheduling of installations during harvest season
  • Maintain key customer relationships and travel the region to make field observations
  • Assist with marketing and outreach efforts of WAG SERVICES
  • Assist in the integration of the Region with other WAG SERVICES programs
  • Participate in planning for long-term Regional development
  • Able to work in the field and office including hard repetitive physical work
  • Some evening or weekend hours will be required (Harvest season operations are 7 days/week)
  • Current driver's license and a good driving record (only one or two points are permissible)
  • Comfortable driving trucks, pulling trailers, and operating skid steer loaders and small wheel tractors
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to speak both English and Spanish is Mandatory

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a team environment with proven leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated organizational, financial and record keeping skills
  • Minimum three years' experience of full-season management preferred
  • Demonstrated agricultural planning experience and working knowledge of agricultural infrastructure
  • Capable of working long hours in extreme weather conditions
  • Demonstrated communication skills
  • Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds
  • Self-motivated, cooperative and flexible
  • Demonstrated ability to manage administrative and record keeping tasks related to running the regional business and overall success of the organization
  • Western Ag is a growth-oriented company. 

 

Salary will be $65,000-$70,000 BOE.  There will be an annual bonus based on results.  Company vehicle and mobile phone to be provided.
