To support its growth, WeGrow LLC is seeking a Sales Manager.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for a broad range of activities, including budgeting, sales strategy and planning, customer and supplier management, and sales execution. A strong understanding of diverse agricultural markets, the latest agricultural technologies and products, as well as proven experience in WSF, inhibitors, and/or biostimulant sales, will be critical for success in this role. Internally, the Sales Manager needs to demonstrate professional independence and initiative, ability to assimilate constant challenges and solid team spirit in collaboration with other members of the Company around the World.
Position's Responsibilities:
- Understanding of portfolio that have to be sell and how to position it on the market and with customers.
- Deeply understanding of the markets: Import & export stats, market size, competitors, prices, etc.
- Identifying market & new product opportunities from both suppliers and customers that fits the unit’s profile.
- Intensifying sales efforts in ongoing markets through supply programs and existing trading activities.
- Developing new business with new customers and markets.
- Liaising and coordinating sales with customers, negotiating, securing best terms, ensuring smooth delivery and timely settlement of payments.
- Making recommendations to management team, for taking long/short positions by providing supportive market analysis, S/D analysis, regular daily updates, evaluations, and scenarios for trading.
- Monitoring day-to-day developments in the global market and reacting timely and creatively to agricultural, economic and political developments.
- Support and coordinate day-to-day logistics with our internal Traffic Department with the aim to provide exceptional customer service.
- Analyzing risks, understand financials, and recommending extensions of finance terms to customers.
- Consistent focus to improve logistics & distribution efficiencies through a deep understanding of customer’s needs
- Updating daily or weekly reports
- Communicating with traffic department and back office colleagues to ensure smooth execution of contracts.
Position's Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, biology, or agricultural sciences.
- Proven sales experience in WSF, inhibitors, bio stimulants and/or organic fertilizers.
- Proven experience in marketing and/or sales of branded products in the agricultural, human health or chemical industries.
- Good communication & social skills and an outgoing personality
- A data-driven, analytical, and action-oriented mindset
- Exceptional organizational skills are required
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Fluent in English (written & spoken) any additional language will be highly valued.
