Job Title: Regional Sales Manager – Nano Fertilizer Technology
Region: North Central USA
Location: North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa or Wisconsin.
Position Summary:
Reporting the CEO, The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will lead the growth and adoption of our innovative nano fertilizer technologies across a defined territory. This role focuses on developing and managing wholesale relationships with independent agricultural dealers, ag retailers, and regional distributors. The RSM will be a key driver in educating the market, supporting dealer success, and accelerating the transition to high-efficiency, sustainable crop nutrition solutions.
This role is ideal for a driven, self-motivated professional with a strong grasp of modern crop production and emerging innovations, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to independently manage a large territory with a willingness to travel extensively.
How You’ll Add Value: (Or you could call it Responsibilities, but that’s a bit boring)
Sales Strategy & Market Development
- Develop and execute a regional sales plan to grow market share of nano fertilizer products
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new independent dealers and retail partners within the territory
- Set and achieve regional sales targets and KPIs in alignment with company objectives
Dealer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary contact for existing dealers—supporting growth, retention, and performance
- Provide in-depth product training and agronomic guidance on nano fertilizer applications
- Partner with dealers to run localized promotions, grower meetings, and field trials
Market Education & Technical Support
- Translate complex technical data into practical, on-farm benefits for dealers and growers
- Collaborate with agronomists and Research & Development teams to communicate product value and differentiate from conventional fertilizers
- Support demonstration plots and validate agronomic ROI through field results
Operational Excellence
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, logistics, and product teams to meet customer needs
- Maintain accurate records of dealer activity, pipeline opportunities, and competitive intelligence using CRM tools
- Provide regular sales forecasts and regional performance updates to leadership
What You Bring: (Or better known as Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, Agribusiness, or related field is preferred
- 5+ years of sales experience in agriculture, preferably with ag inputs (fertilizer, biologicals, or crop protection).
- Experience working with independent ag dealers, cooperatives, or retail networks
- Proven ability to open new accounts and educate partners on emerging technologies
- Knowledge of plant nutrition and familiarity with nano, micronutrient, or precision ag technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-starter with the ability to manage a large territory independently
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%) within a large territory
