Your role:
Ukko Agro currently sells in Canada and the US through retailers, crop-input companies and directly to farmers. We are experiencing exceptional market traction with this multi-channel strategy.


This is where you come in.

As the Territory Sales Rep, you will be responsible for growing sales through existing and new channels in your region. You will also be responsible for bringing in new key accounts such as retailers, crop-input companies, larger farmers, financial institutions and more.


This role will be report to the Sales Director.


Key responsibilities as a part of this role are:

  • Build territory plan, conduct analysis and market research to help rightly position Ukko’s services in the market
  • Build/Enhance sales strategies to accelerate sales in your territory
  • Set and achieve the agreed upon sales target
  • Sign up enterprise key accounts, including but not limited to ag-input retailers, crop-input companies, food companies, financial institutions
  • Build 3 to 5-year commercial roadmap for your territory
  • Work closely with the technology team in Toronto to funnel customer insights that will be used to build new features and expand the product offering


What We Expect

  • 2+ years of experience in sales in the Ag industry, preferably with digital agtech
  • Hungry and driven to scale a fast growing agtech company
  • Strong knowledge of the Agriculture industry in Ontario and Quebec
  • Existing connections with ag-input retailers, farmers, co-ops and other key enterprises with focus on broad acre crops – soybean, wheat, and corn
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Knowledge of precision agriculture trends
  • Expertise in using digital technology, tech savvy
  • Bilingual in English and French
