The Opportunity:
Join our team as a Field Sales Representative and play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in the Canadian agricultural market. You'll leverage your deep understanding of agricultural equipment, agronomy, and customer needs to drive sales growth and build lasting relationships with dealers and key accounts. This hands-on role requires proactive engagement, in-field expertise, and a passion for the agricultural industry.
Location: Western Canada, preferred Manitoba or Saskatchewan provinces with close proximity to a major airport.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the agricultural sector, focusing on tires and wheels.
- Cultivate strong relationships with agricultural tire dealers, equipment dealers, farmers, and key accounts to maximize sales potential.
- Promote Titan's innovative tire and wheel solutions by demonstrating technical selling skills and product knowledge.
- Achieve sales quotas and contribute to the growth of Titan's market share in the agricultural tire and wheel market.
- Provide expert support and product application guidance to customers, leveraging your agronomic understanding and agricultural equipment knowledge.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Collaborate effectively with internal sales, marketing, and engineering teams.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in outside sales within the agricultural industry, ideally with a background of territory sales of agricultural tires and wheels, farm or equipment sales, dealer development, customer field support, etc.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and building customer relationships, specifically with dealer and farm level relationships.
- Strong understanding of agricultural equipment, agronomy, and farm management practices.
- Proven ability to present technical product information effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, or a related field preferred.
