Description

The Marketing Manager leads TIMAC AGRO USA's marketing function, driving brand growth, market expansion, and revenue through strategic planning, field team enablement, and targeted campaign execution. Working closely with the Business Development Director and Communications Manager, this role develops and implements marketing programs that differentiate our specialty fertilizer and bio stimulant portfolio across the USA.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor multi-year strategic marketing plans aligned with corporate revenue and market share objectives.
  • Partner with the Business Development Director to build, manage, and optimize the annual marketing budget, ensuring spending is tracked against results.
  • Oversee market research initiatives; analyze competitive intelligence, pricing trends and customer insights to inform strategic pivots.
  • Monitor competitor products, pricing, and marketing activities and translate findings into actionable recommendations for the sales team.
  • Plan and manage sales oriented advertising and promotional activities across print, digital, social and event channels to build brand awareness and drive lead generation.
  • Maintain a consistent corporate brand identity across all product lines, promotional materials, trade show presence and digital assets.
  • Develop compelling product positioning recommendations to maximize long-term market share.
  • Produce marketing activity reports and present performance metrics, insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with Zone Directors and Regional Managers to develop zone- and region-specific marketing programs and materials.
  • Direct channel development activities and coordinate cross-functionally with sales on distribution strategy and partner engagement.
  • Track and analyze sales performance against marketing programs, quotas and plans; recommend corrective actions where needed.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute trade show and national event participation, including logistics, materials inventory, booth identities and post-event follow-up.
  • Represent the company at trade associations, industry conferences, and events to strengthen brand visibility and promote products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with marketing related industry partners and influencers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Agricultural Business or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in agricultural marketing, preferably within fertilizers, crop inputs or ag retail.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing marketing campaigns that delivered measurable business outcomes.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in market research, competitive analysis and performance reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentation ability.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Proficient in creative design tools including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and/or Canva.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally as needed.

Preferred Attributes

  • Established network of contacts across the agricultural retail, distribution or crop input industry.
  • Experience marketing sustainable or specialty fertilizers, including controlled-release, organo-mineral, or bio stimulant products.
  • Familiarity with behavioral drivers influencing grower adoption of novel agronomic inputs.
  • Experience leading or collaborating with field-based technical sales organizations.
