Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.

  • Performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conducting preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment. 
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance and repairs on all machinery.
  • Forecasting and ordering production needs and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of all machines, parts, tools and supplies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize operational disruptions.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
  • Cleans, maintains and organizes equipment and plant work areas on a consistent basis.
  • Communicating with customers in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
  • Providing support to the Dry and Liquid Production Operations and Delivery Department to ensure that the demands of the customer are met.  
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant technical certifications or vocational training is preferred.
  • Prior experience working as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Class A driver's license a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good physical condition and dexterity to perform manual tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
