Job Description: Job Summary

The Warehouse Clerk supports daily warehouse operations in our pork production facility in Souderton by receiving, storing, moving, and issuing materials and finished products. This role requires attention to safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment while complying with food safety and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete incoming trailer inspection sheets, recording lot number
  • Receive, inspect and pull samples from incoming spices and supplies as needed for QA
  • verify incoming materials, supplies, and finished pork products
  • Accurately pick, stage, and ship products according to production and customer requirements
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems or manual logs
  • Ensure proper storage, rotation, and handling of pork products in accordance with food safety and quality standards
  • Perform routine inspections of warehouse areas to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies, including PPE and lockout/tagout procedures
  • Assist with cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliation
  • Work closely with production, quality, and shipping teams to support daily operations

Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Ability to lift to 70 lbs. regularly
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders safely
  • Ability to work in a production/warehouse environment that may include cold or refrigerated areas
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull as needed

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Forklift experience required (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
  • Prior warehouse or production facility experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in food manufacturing or meat processing is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule & Work Conditions
  • Ability to work assigned shifts, including overtime, weekends, or holidays as required by production needs
