Position Summary:
The Sales Support Coordinator will be responsible for being a liaison with customers, taking orders, supporting inbound and outbound deliveries, and organizing and coordinating office administration and procedures.

Utilize AGRIS to create fertilizer orders, invoices, enter new inventory items as well as keep track of inventory
Ensure adherence to Wenger policies, methods, and disciplines
Answer phones, greet visitors, make calls to customers to set-up grain pick up and deliveries and place fertilizer orders
Discuss current pricing and the ag markets with customers/ Build positive relationships with customers
Asist with dispatching fertilizer deliveries
Order seed, storage tanks, and tank fittings/parts as needed
Monitor grain inventory
Submit truck mileage monthly
Enter grain tickets that grain haulers submit. (Outbound grain from Risser's locations and well as farm pickups)
Order materials or equipment needed for the facility/office
Record fertilizer ingredient deliveries and keep inventory updated
Understand logistics and coordinate grain/fertilizer deliveries effectively
Blend basic fertilizer orders and understand the Kahler blending program used
Apply customer payments when received and print receipts
Work longer weekday hours during the busy season as well as Saturdays (when needed)
Provide administrative assistance and data entry for inventory management, fertilizer sales, and truck dispatching
Manage office/scale house including grain testing and quality control, inbound/outbound fertilizer and grain trucks.
Project a positive attitude to customers and employees at all times, and provide outstanding and courteous customer service.
Be the first source of contact for "will call" sales, enter fertilizer and seed orders, apply basic agronomy knowledge, and provide customer service.
Keep the location manager informed of any operational, customer, vendor or employee issues that may arise.
Promote the business to existing and potential customers, support trade shows, and advertisement opportunities.
Distribute and manage monthly finance charges to customers.
Manage driver-related tasks: mileage records, driver credit cards, absence forms, dispatch list, end of period mileages, quarterly IFTA, random drug screening, creating the grain pick up list, driver schedules and approving timecards.
Oversee an efficient office environment, including purchasing office supplies and directing internal communications.
Perform other duties as necessary.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on occasion
Who are you:
High School Diploma
Minimum of 1-3 years' related experience OR an equivalent combination of related education and/or experience required
Agronomy background or experience preferred
Qualifications Needed:
Excellent customer service and communication skills required
Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proficient written communication skills in business correspondence
