What your day looks like:

The Procurement Administrator for Risser Grain will help maintain the daily operations of the office and provide support for the Procurement Administrative Supervisor. Key functions may include organizing and coordinating office administration and procedures, bookkeeping activities, and customer service to ensure effective and efficient day-to-day operations.

May be responsible for all or part of the following duties and responsibilities:
  • Answer telephones and greet visitors.
  • Distribute and manage monthly finance charges to customers.
  • Assist the grain team and grain related processes by entering daily grain tickets, weekly grain settlements and account reconciliations.
  • Manage fertilizer transactions including but not limited to invoicing, stock additions/adjustments, and inventory voucher maintenance.
  • Oversee an efficient office environment, including purchasing office supplies and directing internal communications.
  • Accounts Payable - entering expense vouchers and paying/uploading ACH files.
  • Accounts Receivable - entering customer payments.
  • Depositing/reconciling checks and handling payments from lockbox.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
  • Support business and financial reporting needs.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in an office setting or customer service role
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • Flexibility to work extended hours to meet seasonal demands of the business
