What your day looks like:

The Transload Coordinator will be responsible for demand planning for the ESB Transload operation - outside Sales and Internal Transfers. To accomplish these responsibilities, they will need to effectively collaborate with quality, procurement, the ESB team and Transportation Carriers.

The Transload Coordinator is responsible for scheduling daily pick up times (anticipated), recording previous load haul by carries, inspection of trailer to ensure no residue is present from previous load, prepare paperwork and facilitate inbound and outbound scaling activities, help with loading of trucks and label and pull samples for all products sold.

This is a first shift position, with the schedule being 5am - 3pm Monday through Friday.

May be responsible for all or part of the following duties and responsibilities to be determined by the Mill Manager:

 

  • Effectively and efficiently direct operations of all areas of the transload and ensure adherence to quality processes.
  • Responsible for the timely scheduling, paperwork, inspections, loading, sampling of products being sold or transferred.
  • May help support ingredient transfers within the ESB location in preparation for EST sales.
  • Work closely with the Site Manager and Nutrify reviewing inventories and requested orders.
  • Attend and interact with full physical inventories as scheduled.
  • Coordinate with Site Manager and Cost Accountant on all changes that may impact inventory count or measurement accuracy.
  • Effectively communicate and plan workflow with ESB, Nutrify and Transportation Carriers.
  • Supervise daily workload to promote efficient loading.
  • Drive efficiently of related processes to reduce wait times
  • Inspection of trailer before loading.
  • Manage inbound and outbound scaling activities
  • Sampling of all products being sold and transferred.
  • Be the direct point of contact for Transload Logistics
  • Investigate quality related issues identified within the activities of the transload.
  • Coordinate reporting and record-keeping functions with Site Manage and Nutrify
  • Maintain sales, transfer reports and operational records as needed
  • Navigate, use, and understand Wenger System and Laserfiche, as appropriate
  • Function in an "on call" capacity
  • Ability to fill in on other shifts as needed including weekends and overtime.
  • Complete required t raining in a timely manner
  • Assume duties during absence of Site Manager
  •  


Who you are:

 

 

  • A minimum requirement of a high school degree
  • Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a feed mill or comparable manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of feed manufacturing techniques, equipment operation and maintenance
  • Supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership and team building capabilities
  • Transportation/logistics background would be beneficial
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. on occasion
  • Ability to climb ladders and work in high places
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Ability to work in dusty conditions
  • Ability to work inside and outside in hot and cold weather
