Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Receive and process incoming telephone, fax, or EDI Sales and Return orders; maintain records on daily transactions.
2. Enter orders into the system as received. Confirming accurate pricing, promotions, SKUs, and ship date.
3. Inform Production of orders as received for Production Planning.
4. Inform customers of shortages prior to delivery of the product.
5. Communicate problems with deliveries, credits, and complaints to appropriate team members for resolution.
6. Maintain up-to-date customer files.
7. Complete customer forms as necessary.
8. Maintain Customer portals as necessary.
9. Manage Public Web Inquiries
10. Answer consumer questions regarding company practices, product specs, preparation, and cooking instructions, where to buy, and other questions.
11. Handle negative comments in a professional manner.
12. Follow Consumer Care guidelines for handling refunds.
13. Resolve credits and adjustments from assigned accounts following company guidelines. Submit all credit requests to the appropriate designated persons. Notify customers of credit approval or denials.
14. Enter information to the customer/consumer complaint log.
15. Backup other team members within the Customer Service Department as needed.
16. Perform other related duties and projects, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
3 years of sales administrative experience and proficiency in Microsoft Suite products.
Ability to communicate and work with various people, both written and verbal. Organized and detail oriented. Ability to handle high volume in a fast-paced environment.
High School Diploma or associate degree
Preferred Qualifications
Customer Service experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
