About the Role

The CDL Driver, Live Haul & Feed is responsible for safely transporting pigs and feed between farms and designated locations while ensuring compliance with HANOR biosecurity, animal welfare, and transportation standards. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the efficiency of daily operations and supporting overall production success in alignment with The HANOR Way.

North Carolina Area Snapshot

• Serves multiple farms and production sites across the region
• Responsible for both live animal transport and feed delivery
• Direct impact on animal welfare, biosecurity, and operational flow

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL-required vehicles to transport pigs and feed between locations
• Load, unload, and handle livestock in accordance with animal welfare standards
• Follow strict biosecurity protocols at all farm and facility locations
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
• Coordinate schedules for deliveries, pickups, and routes with management
• Ensure proper handling and delivery of feed to designated farms
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of trucks and trailers
• Report any mechanical issues, delays, or concerns promptly
• Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies

Qualifications

• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) required
• Experience hauling livestock and/or agricultural products preferred
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends
• Ability to lift, push, and pull as required for loading/unloading
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
