Position Overview

This position is responsible for laboratory testing and analysis of raw materials and finished goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform testing analyze data identify issues and propose recommendations to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Document and report finished product meets prescribed standards.
• Perform activities associated with laboratory equipment preventative maintenance calibrations and up-keep.
• Assist in the design and implementation of laboratory training programs. Monitor test and assist in the repair and maintenance of equipment and environmental systems if applicable.
• Maintain all documentation and recordkeeping associated with laboratory processes and operations. Ensure compliance with all associated regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required Associateâs Degree preferred
• 5+ yearsâ relevant experience required
• Experience with automated laboratory equipment HPLC GC
• Proficiency in office computer software e.g. word processing e-mail and spreadsheets
• Must be knowledgeable and proficient in the handling of hazardous materials
• Intermediate capability with computer software such as JMP Excel and Word.Â

Physical Requirements and Working Environment

• Working conditions include laboratory work as well as office work
• Must be able to sit/stand for an extended period of time
• Exposure to dust chemicals hazardous materials etc.
