Position Overview

This position is responsible for the development and support of IT applications or infrastructure that enable the businesses they serve to operate efficiently and within established service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the collection understanding documentation and analysis of application or infrastructure processes that impact the delivery of IT Services to the business
  • Design configure and implement SAP modules and solutions in the SAP FI/CO areas
  • Design execute and tracking of system tests to ensure operational readiness before being deployed in a production environment.
  • Support production systems by resolving issues as they are reported in person or through the help desk
  • Identify potential gaps and opportunities in the existing solution and provide recommendations to resolve.
  • Oversee the completions of project related tasks and assignments to meet project deadlines.

  • Intermediate knowledge and experience in SAP FI/CO acquiring higher level knowledge and skills
  • Solves a range of straightforward problems on their own
  • Uses existing solutions to resolve more complex issues
  • Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction
  • Stay current with new system functionality and Industry best practices
  • Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Self -motivated to learn and develop necessary skills in SAP FI/CO to support the existing SAP solution

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelorâs Degree in Business Administration Computer Science or related field required Masterâs Degree preferred
  • 3-5 yearsâ relevant experience required

Functional Area Specific Qualifications

  • Functional and/or support experience in SAP FI or CO
  • Full project lifecycle and support experience
  • Technical and hands on configuration experience in one or more of the following additional SAP process areas is strongly desired: General Ledger AP/AR Fixed Assets Internal Orders/Capital Planning Product Costing/Material Ledger Group Reporting
  • Demonstrable track record in guiding SAP customizing from requirements gathering working with developers and deployment/end user training.
  • Integration experience with other core financial systems such as Vertex Concur Coupa Blackline
  • Excellent oral/written communications business partnering conflict resolution and consensus building are expected.
