As a Grain Quality Inspector you will play a crucial role in assessing and ensuring the quality of grain used in ethanol production.
Position Overview
This position is responsible for sampling testing grading weighing all incoming grain.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect grain samples using automated or manual grain probe and other equipment as required.
- Accurately inspect inbound grain for moisture content size weight color and foreign presence. Make grading determination in accordance with the Scale & Inspection Standard Operating Procedures.Â
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain required documentation and recordkeeping.
- Provide high level of customer support to drivers and location merchants.
- Performs housekeeping duties in work area and other areas of grain as required.

- Has developed skills through formal training or considerable work experience
- Works within established procedures
- Completes work with a moderate degree of supervision
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- 1-2 yearsâ relevant experience required
Physical Requirements and Working Environment
- Work is performed in a facility that operates 24x7
- Must be able to stand/sit for an extended period of time
- Ability to frequently lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
- Working conditions could include; dust fumes moderate noise and uneven surfaces
