As a Grain Quality Inspector you will play a crucial role in assessing and ensuring the quality of grain used in ethanol production.

Position Overview

This position is responsible for sampling testing grading weighing all incoming grain.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect grain samples using automated or manual grain probe and other equipment as required.
• Accurately inspect inbound grain for moisture content size weight color and foreign presence. Make grading determination in accordance with the Scale & Inspection Standard Operating Procedures.Â
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain required documentation and recordkeeping.
• Provide high level of customer support to drivers and location merchants.
• Performs housekeeping duties in work area and other areas of grain as required.

• Has developed skills through formal training or considerable work experience
• Works within established procedures
• Completes work with a moderate degree of supervision

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• 1-2 yearsâ relevant experience required

Physical Requirements and Working Environment

• Work is performed in a facility that operates 24x7
• Must be able to stand/sit for an extended period of time
• Ability to frequently lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Working conditions could include; dust fumes moderate noise and uneven surfaces
