Position Overview
This position is responsible for identifying opportunities and driving improvement of Environmental Health & Safety EHS risk at the location level. This role is corporate based working to implement programs processes and procedures within its respective business unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Support locations in execution of EHS Management Systems Significant Injury and Fatality SIF initiatives and Life Critical Policies through education and training auditing coaching and leading.
- Provide strategic leadership to drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.
- Assist with the development of business unit EHS policies and procedures.
- Provide incident investigation support and lead those classified as Red Risk.
- Ensure operations activities incorporate all necessary auditing monitoring reporting and inspections to comply with standards.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelorâs Degree required Masterâs Degree preferred
- EHS Degree preferred
- 5-10 yearsâ relevant experience required; previous grain handling/rail experience preferred
- Certified Safety Professional CSP Certified Industrial Hygienist CIH and/or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager CHMM certification preferred
- Up to 30 travel is required
