Position Overview

This position is responsible for providing primary support to the assigned location in execution of contracts rates and coordinating logistical support for commodity shipments by rail truck or barge.

We are hiring aÂCommodity Accounting Merchandising Assistant at our office in Maumee OH to assist our Pulses & Organics group.

Key responsibilities

• Data entry of contract information create contract folders and ensure accuracy of files and documentsÂ
• Assist with intermediate accounting functions such as: invoicing collection and payment processingÂ
• Provide logistical support for commodity shipments by rail truck or bargeÂ
• Help customers by answering questions or resolving issues with payments or shipmentsÂ
• Run reports organize data analyze and problem solveÂ
• Support commodity traders and senior assistants with other duties as neededÂ

What is expected of you and others at this level

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required Associateâs or higher degree preferredÂ
• A minimum ofÂ1 yearÂrelevant accounting and/or customer service experienceÂ
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivatedÂ
• An ambitious spirit to help drive personal and company growthÂ
• Strong attention to detail ability to gather and analyze informationÂ
• 10 key and data entry experienceÂ
