The Customer Support Specialist acts as an advocate for TELUS Agriculture clients and their day-to-day needs. This individual provides customer service to existing and potential TELUS Agriculture clients. Daily responsibilities include answering calls and emails in our inbound support line, assisting in escalated and documenting support cases.

  • Serve as a customer facing resource for all incoming calls and emails
  • Provide exemplary support for all TELUS Agriculture products and services through phone or email channels
  • Outstanding listening skills and phone etiquette
  • Document all incoming cases and interactions and clients within TELUS Agriculture's CRM program
  • Follow-up with customers and provide updates to ensure resolution
  • Set high standards of performance for self, assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks
  • Gather customer's information and determine the issue by evaluating and analyzing the symptoms
  • The ability to submit and identify software issues in writing and submit via JIRA software
  • The ability to prioritize tasks
  • Basic knowledge of browser configuration for example Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome operating systems
  • Develop and execute initiatives to reduce support inquiries and increase customer happiness
  • Meet and exceed customer satisfaction by exceptional follow through
  • Possess curiosity and initiative towards learning new products and services
  • Educate customers on new features and releases
  • Basic functionality of iOS devices
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Ability to work early morning shifts and availability on Saturdays

What you bring to this role

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Previous experience in Agriculture
  • Cloud-based software experience a plus
  • Ability to make quick, accurate, and appropriate decisions.
  • Exceptional skills in keyboard and operating computer systems.
  • A proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service
  • Flexibility to adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Exceptionally strong work ethic and ability to be flexible on working hours
  • Positive, energetic and outgoing personality
