About this Role:As the Seeds Regional
Marketing Lead, you will be accountable for leading the development and
execution of grower strategy through marketing campaigns that will deliver
results within defined geography (agrocore zone) in alignment with the brand strategy. The territory for this role will be Illinois,
Iowa, Nebraska, and Missorri. In this
role, you will travel 30-50%. The bulk
of your travel time will be in May through September.

Essential Duties &

  • Develop and implement the go
    to market strategy through tailered local marketing campaigns (Battle Plans)
  • Develop tactics that support
    brand and local objectives and strategies designed to deliver annaul budget
  • Preapre and drive implemention of the marketing campaigns through an
    aligned appraoch and effectively
    engaging key collaborative partners in development & execution of marketing
    programs and tactics at the grower and channel level
  • Monitor effectiveness of product
    sales, price, and marketing campaign. Proactively
    intervene as needed to deliver budget
  • Collaborate with on frontline sales force go-to-market
    / marketing campaign to ensure
    alignment on effective implementation of campaign execution
  • Removes or minimize in season bottlenecks impacting the business to
    support field force effectiveness within defined geography
  • Set marketing direction within the agrocore zone team to shape ongoing
    marketing operations and strategy marketing operations


Education &

  • Bachelors Degree in Agriculture, Marketing,
    Communications or related field is required
  • Minimum of 5 years
    of Agricultural sales or marketing experience
  • Experience in effectively
    delivering results through cross functional teams. Experience in developing and managing an
    annual budget, and gross to net marketing mix
  • Marketing skills and ability to identify
    the voice of the customer. Excellent
    communications i.e., PowerPoint, oral and written, interpersonal,
    negotiating, analytical, problem solving/decision making, teamwork and
    planning / organizing skills
  • Experience in marketing and sales
    excellence principles
  • Passion and significant understanding of
    agriculture, marketplace dynamics, competitive environment channel partners
    and farmer needs
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver creative
    solutions to deliver for the customer and drive results
  • Understanding of key business
    drivers for profitable growth
  • Additional Knowledge,
    Skills, Traits & Abilities:

    • Experience building and
      executing Marketing plans and developing compelling offers and tactics.
    • Knowledge of innovation
      processes from ideation to commercialization
    • Understanding of seeds/traits
      industry value chain and dynamics
    • Passion and interest in
      serving channel partners and farmers, including understanding of their business
      needs and goals
    • Knowledge of sales
      organization, including understanding their needs, timing, and how to communicate
      stories and materials effectively
    • Ability to build good
      relationships and work cross-functionally especially within marketing and
      commercial operations
    • Demonstrated
      understanding of financial metrics and analysis
    • Strong
      Microsoft Office Suite capabilities e.g., Excel, PowerPoint
    • Ability
      to lead indirect reports through a challenging process
