At Syngenta, we are working to build the most collaborative and trusted team in agriculture that provides leading seeds and crop protection innovations to enhance the prosperity of farmers. We are currently seeking a Marketing Lead for the Customer Marketing team in Roseville, California.


As a Marketing Lead you will be accountable to deliver business results by leading the development and execution of customer campaigns in alignment with our Customer Campaign service model.



    Lead the development and implementation of assigned customer campaigns and work with Crop & Product Marketing, Digital Ag, Program Specialists, Sales, and KAM Key Account Management to develop strategies and tactics at the grower and channel level. Execute a Customer Campaign service model to support Sales and KAM to effectively deliver business results. Drive and lead implementation and monitoring of programs and tactics for the assigned geography. Responsible as a campaign touch point for all sales teams and agronomy Acts as the key liaison between frontline sales force and marketing to ensure effective customer campaign execution. Responsible for brand leadership, supply and demand direction, and key crop management within the direction of campaign responsibilities. Coordinate with Program Specialists in the development and execution of marketing programs and tactics. Coordinate with Customer Marketing Specialists in the execution of customer campaign tactics. Lead Customer Campaign Team for assigned micro markets. Removes bottlenecks impacting the business to support field force effectiveness within defined geography. Monitor in-season campaign progress and propose adjustments as appropriate.




  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Marketing, and/or Finance
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Ag Business
  • Strong customer focus
  • Knowledge of marketing and sales excellence principles
  • Understanding of key business drivers for profitable growth
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of time
  • Most be able to live/relocate to the Roseville, CA area

Preferred Requirements

  • Understanding and utilization of MaSE methodology
  • Ag Sales Experience
  • Excellent creativity skills coupled with a strong customer focus orientation
  • Ability to build good relationships and work cross-functionally especially within marketing and commercial operations
  • Ability to lead a matrixed, cross functional team of indirect reports through challenging processes
