About this Role:As the HR Analyst / Administrative
Assistant, you will provide administrative support and project coordination
for the Seeds Leadership Team efficiently and effectively with a high degree of
confidentiality and professionalism. This role includes a broad range of
activities to include general administrative to projects requiring more
specialized skills.Occasional support required for the direct
reports of the Seeds Leadership team will be required including meeting
planning, travel coordination, occasional budget and expense management in
addition to regional office and functional projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide first line contact with seed industry
    personnel, company executives, Syngenta management, employees and the
  • Liaise closely with Global headquarters administrative
    support staff to schedule meetings, coordinate itineraries and Executive
  • Provide exceptional calendaring for Seeds Leadership
    team and other executives on the direct team
  • Provide support to respective department. May
    support other departments with events, meetings, etc. as needed
  • General administrative duties, project support, special
    events and activities as requested
  • Assist with all event planning logistics, such as
    invitations, venue selection and bookings
  • Organize and plan site events to include, annual family
    outing, holiday party, Lunch & Learns, etc
  • Serve on the Employee Engagement Steering Committee
  • Complete domestic and international travel bookings for
  • Input and review expense reports requested by Executive(s)
  • Preparation of correspondence, reports, presentations
    and other material as needed for internal and external meetings
  • Following of budget information provided for Executives
  • Organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete
    under time constraints
  • Will need to be able to anticipate the needs of
    Executives and adapt to last minute change
  • Coordinate and manage Leadership projects of a diverse
    scope and in collaboration with team members and stakeholders; this may
    require independent research regarding the project, managing or
    influencing interdepartmental or cross-functional teams, and directing
    schedules along with monitoring budget/spending if necessary
  • Creates and presents ad hoc HR data reports, as
  • Enters and reviews routine
    employee data into various human resources data bases and ensures data
  • Co-ordinates HR processes, as guided, to support Global
    and Regional HRBPs
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

  • Skills:

    Education & Experience:
  • Associates degree is required, Bachelors degree is
  • Minimum 5 years of administrative experience at the
    executive level
  • Attention to detail and exceptional organizational and
    time management skills
  • Proficient scheduling and coordinating complex travel
    arrangements, both domestic and international, for senior level Executives
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects while
    working under deadlines
  • Excellent Skills in Microsoft Office with a very strong
    proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and the ability to learn new
    applications as assigned
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment; working
    efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential
  • Ability to demonstrate courtesy and tact in obtaining
    and furnishing information
