Synergy Services Inc. is a full-service pork production, management and marketing company located in South Western Ontario focused on Raising the Potential of People and Pigs. The company has an opening for a hands-on team player with strong technical skills in nursery and grow-finish production to coach and support producers in reaching their potential. This position is based out of the office in Listowel but is an on-farm role with site-to-site travel required.

Specific duties will include:

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day oversight of production at assigned locations
• Work to improve production efficiency and product quality
• Communicate effectively with producers, staff and management
• Participate as a member of the production management team

This position reports to the Synergy Production Team Manager.

The successful candidate will have:

• A solid background and a proven track-record in pork production
• Some management experience
• Some formal post-secondary education, preferably in agriculture
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with effective change management
• Commitment to customer service
