Now Hiring: Agronomy Sales Specialist – Kentucky Territory

We’re currently seeking an experienced Agronomy Sales Specialist to support customers across Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, and Ohio counties. In this field-based role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to growers, providing tailored agronomic recommendations and building long-term partnerships rooted in trust and results.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Build and grow strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities
  • Provide customized agronomic recommendations, including seed, fertilizer, and crop protection solutions
  • Conduct regular field visits to evaluate crop conditions, soil health, and pest pressures
  • Drive territory sales growth by promoting agronomy products and services
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and agronomy teams to execute territory strategies
  • Plan and lead customer meetings, field days, and educational events
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and territory analyses
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, stewardship standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Deliver responsive after-sales support to strengthen customer satisfaction and retention

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in agronomy or agricultural sales
  • Proven success achieving sales goals and growing customer relationships
  • Strong technical knowledge of crop production, soils, and pest management
  • Familiarity with Kentucky agriculture and regional market dynamics
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfort using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel throughout the territory
