Now Hiring: Agronomy Sales Specialist – Kentucky Territory

We’re currently seeking an experienced Agronomy Sales Specialist to support customers across Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, and Ohio counties. In this field-based role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to growers, providing tailored agronomic recommendations and building long-term partnerships rooted in trust and results.
What You’ll Do
- Build and grow strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities
- Provide customized agronomic recommendations, including seed, fertilizer, and crop protection solutions
- Conduct regular field visits to evaluate crop conditions, soil health, and pest pressures
- Drive territory sales growth by promoting agronomy products and services
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and agronomy teams to execute territory strategies
- Plan and lead customer meetings, field days, and educational events
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and territory analyses
- Ensure compliance with company policies, stewardship standards, and regulatory requirements
- Deliver responsive after-sales support to strengthen customer satisfaction and retention
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in agronomy or agricultural sales
- Proven success achieving sales goals and growing customer relationships
- Strong technical knowledge of crop production, soils, and pest management
- Familiarity with Kentucky agriculture and regional market dynamics
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Comfort using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel throughout the territory
