Souris River Seeds is a family run company directly supporting our trading partners by efficiently processing and exporting specialty crops to global markets. We are looking to hire an active leader to operate our seed cleaning plant in Weyburn.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the movement of grain by loading and unloading shipments
• Collect and test samples for quality
• Operate grain cleaners
• Assist in basic facility and grounds maintenance
• Accurately complete documentation
• Participate in maintaining a safe and respectful work environment
   

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year grain handling experience
• Solid written, spoken, and communication skills in English
• Basic computer literacy
• Ambition and organizational skills
• Orientation toward details and accuracy
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Agricultural background preferred
• Ability to work shifts and the occasional weekend
• Ability to work outdoors, in dusty conditions, and at heights
• Possess a drivers license
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
