Status: Permanent, Full-Time (37,5 hours)

Schedule: 8am to 4.30pm (day shift)

Workplace: 47 Minas Warehouse Road, New Minas, NS

CHALLENGES WE OFFER

This position serves as the front line of communication by receiving orders directly from farmer customers, retail co-ops and other customers via telephone, text and over the counter. This position also serves as backup to the sales team by accurately responding to customer inquiries whenever possible or forwarding inquiries immediately to the sales team.

 

YOUR ROLE

  • Receiving customer orders by phone and in person;
  • Processing and distributing orders to appropriate personnel for scheduling;
  • Providing accurate information on product availability or substitutions and providing excellent customer service;
  • Processing invoices;
  • Being responsible for all related paperwork and record keeping;
  • Assisting in all areas of the feed mill office where required.

YOUR ASSETS

  • You possess a post-secondary education with customer service experience OR an acceptable combination of education and experience;
  • You have a positive attitude with a passion for excellent customer service;
  • You show great attention to detail and have the ability to work with figures;
  • You have good computer literacy including competency with Microsoft Office, more specifically with Excel/Word;
  • You have the knowledge and ability to perform basic office and account maintenance functions;
  • You are able to meet normal deadlines associated with good office procedures.
