Field Service Technician – Midwest/Northeast USA

Are you a skilled technician with a passion for providing exceptional customer service and solving technical challenges?  Join our team as a Field Service Technician and make a direct impact on our customers in the livestock industry!

To support SKOV’s growth in North America, we are looking for a skilled and self-driven Service Technician.  In this position, you will play a key role in supporting our customers by addressing technical issues, ensuring proper installation of equipment, and delivering excellent service on-site and remotely.  You will also assist our sales team with your technical expertise and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and services.

Responsibilities include

• Ensure correct installation of delivered equipment to maximize customer satisfaction
• Provide technical support to customers, dealers, and sales
• Conduct on-site and remote service visits to resolve technical issues
• Facilitate relevant information from customers to sales and/or the Regional Director.
• Participate in exhibitions, training sessions, and customer/dealer training programs.
• Build quality into all aspects of work by adhering to the service manual.

Qualifications

• Degree or experience as an electrician, automation engineer, agricultural engineer, or similar technical background.
• Technical experience from agriculture, particularly controlling technology and automation in livestock houses is an advantage.
• Experience in documentation and administration related to technical installations.
• Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• English fluency is required; Spanish and/or French is an advantage.
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Location: Remote Midwest/Northeast USA

Start date: As soon as possible

Compensation: Competitive compensation and benefits package

Travel: Approx. 70-80% in the US and Canada.
