Innovative Ag Services (IAS) is seeking an Agronomy Sales Advisor to join its team in Waukon and Faulkner, IA. 

 

The Agronomy Sales Advisor is responsible for increasing sales volume and margin of growth by actively selling products and services for the benefit of IAS and its member-owners.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales & Customer Solutions: Promote IAS products and services – especially crop protection, plant food, seed, and agronomy – by understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions that grow sales, margins, and market share 
  • Customer Experience & Relationship Building: Build strong relationships, educate customers, ensure satisfaction throughout the customer journey, and regularly follow up to strengthen loyalty and growth
  • Operational & Team Collaboration: Coordinate closely with team members and location managers on product inventory, pricing, Precision Ag activities, and customer support to ensure smooth operations
  • Reporting, Compliance & Development: Maintain accurate records, submit weekly reports, manage customer accounts, stay current on licensing, and actively engage in professional development and marketing planning 

 

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of agronomy sales experience
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent with education and experience
  • Strong computer skills including Word and Excel
