Seneca Foods Corporation of Le Sueur, MN, a seed research and development facilitylocated approximately 40 miles from the Twin Cities metro area, is currently seeking aSeed Research Technicianto join its team for the 2025 summer production season.

Motivated individuals with an interest in Agriculture, Science, or working in an outdoor environmentare encouraged to apply for this opportunity. The technician will gain hands-on, team-based industry experience working withpea, bean, and sweet corn breeding programs.

Responsibilities:

Growand carefor plants in the greenhouse/field
Sweet corn nursery pollination
Assistwith field trial planting preparation and harvest
Data collection, data entry, and data evaluation
Quality control
Seed inventory management
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Willingness and ability to function in a team environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
Willingness to follow proper research procedures.
Background in Agriculture preferred.

Starting wage range based on skills, abilities, and experience at $14.48 per hour.
