Purchasing Clerk
Seneca Foods is in serach of a Purchasing Clerk for our facility located in Geneva, NY.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES, OR JOB DUTIES:
Perform accounting assignments in an accurate and timely manner
Research vendors and obtain vendor quotes
Create purchase orders
Process returns of incorrect shipments/defective parts

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Acts as back up to other team members as needed
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Good oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of purchasing function
Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to work in a team environment
Self-motivation and self-supervision
High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years purchasing experience preferred

The expected compensation range for this position is $23.00-$28.00 per hour, depending on skills & experience.
