Seneca Foods in Janesville, WI is currently seeking a Mechanic to join our team.

Responsibilites:

General mechanical knowledge and abilities (mechanical repair and equipment maintenance).
Repair and maintain buildings and equipment in case and label.
Average knowledge of various hand and power tools.

Qualifications:

Requires the ability to bend, lift, carry, push and pull varying weights up to 50 pounds, sometimes in awkward positions. Job requires extensive walking, climbing, and some crawling.
Must be able to demonstrate sustained attention to detail when working with diagrams, prints and manuals.
Must have the ability to effectively communicate with management and fellow employees.
Must have the ability to effectively understand proper documentation and handling of paperwork involved with the departmental operations.
