Seneca Foods in Rochester, MN is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team. Seneca Foods offers an excellent benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, paid time off and much more! Help us make our Farm Fresh Goodness Great! This position pays $23.86 per hour. Current shift hours are 5:45 pm to 4:30 am.
Responsibilities:

Every 30 minutes check for the following (net weights, percentages, proper coding, and metal detectors)Ensure that the proper product is being usedRead sketches and blueprints to determine layout of assigned workWork closely with the QC supervisor and shift supervisor in recording proper paperwork and to prepare broker samplesMonitor equipment operation making any necessary adjustmentsEnsure that GMPs (General manufacturing Practices) and regulations are being followed and enforcedOther duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:

Good communication skills.Basic computer and mathematical skills.Working knowledge of basic measuring devices and machines.Ability to work well with others.Ability to work extended hours during our peak season.Ability to work weekends when needed.Physical Requirments:
