This position will partner with our merchants to provide best in class service to our customers.  The successful candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, an attention to detail, be able to adapt to changing situations/priorities, the ability to identify and implement process improvements, as well as successfully work as a team.   Specifically, this role will be responsible for the efficient and on-time execution of sales contracts to our customers all over the world.  This includes working closely with transportation companies, steamship lines, freight forwarders and transloaders.


Essential Functions

  • Arrange export ocean freight transportation

  • Secure Ocean bookings based on contractual delivery terms

  • Strong focus on successful execution of sales contracts

  • Issue transloading instructions and monitoring shipments in each mode to destination

  • Seek most cost-effective method of transportation

  • Work directly with steamship lines, freight forwarders, transloaders, transportation providers

  • Create and obtain correct international shipping documents as require by importing country regulations

  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and customers

  • Domestic shipping documentation

  • Review and approve export related invoices

  • Additional Projects as required






  • 2+ years of export trade and execution experience

  • Understand International shipping documentation (OBL, Certificate of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificates)

  • Strong customer service orientation and service leadership

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Comfortable with conflict and strong conflict resolutions skills

  • Detail Oriented with strong planning and organization skills

  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment

  • Demonstrated business acumen

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work independently and proactively identify, research and solve problems.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
