Experience: 3 -5 years (feed mill operations, equipment operations and agricultural feedlot work)

Duties: Responsible for all duties related to hay/crop/silage production. Oversee daily feed mill operations, including feed mixing, ration accuracy, and delivery schedules. Operate feed trucks, loaders, tractors and other equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor feed inventories and coordinate with management for ordering grain, supplements, and commodities. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on feed mill and equipment. Ensure feed rations are prepared according to nutritional guidelines and veterinarian/nutritionist recommendations. Maintain accurate records for feed usage, inventory and equipment maintenance. Supervise and train feed mill staff and equipment operators as needed. Adhere to safety protocols, biosecurity measures and feedlot best practices. Collaborate with feedlot managers to ensure efficient cattle performance and cost controls. General farm duties as directed by the feedlot managers.

Must work early mornings, weekends (including Sundays) and extended hours during peak seasons.

Must be physically fit, reliable and be able to work in all weather conditions.
