Richardson operates port terminals from coast to coast across Canada and exports Canadian-grown grains and oilseeds to end-use markets in over 50 countries around the globe.

We currently have an opening for an Operations Supervisor at our grain terminal facility located in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec.

Responsibilities:

• Supervision of staff in a unionized environment
• Supporting the movement of grain through the terminal facility
• Communicating with vessel owners, ship agents, regulatory bodies and related industry and company personnel
• Train and develop personnel in workplace safety standards, work practices and job tasks

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of operational experience in a unionized environment
• Self-starter with demonstrated initiative
• Fluent in both French and English
• Strong attention to workplace safety
• Previous supervisory experience
• Solid knowledge of computerized management software
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime as needed
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
