Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete thorough cleaning of all areas assigned;maintainmaster sanitation schedule, best practices, and follow sanitation checklist to complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks; including restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, entrances, locker rooms, offices, and laboratory

Practiceappropriate safetyprocedures when performing work assignments;observeand followappropriate safetypractices as outlined by standard operating procedures and safety expectations

Stock cleaning supplies and paper goodsin ordertomaintainproper inventory levels.Assistother department personnel if chemicals or cleaning equipment are needed

Check rodent traps, and pheromone traps on a weekly basis to helpmonitorpest activity throughout the facility. Proactively report any signs ofinfestationsto your supervisor.

Monitor and report all product protection issues as they arise (ex: glass objects in production area that could contaminateproductor falling dust into product, etc.), and report any maintenance needsimmediatelyto QA Supervisor or the maintenance department to helpmonitorthe general condition of the facility

Sanitation Utilitiesare required toclean up blood stains or spillsin the event ofan accident or injury that takes place on company property

Education and Experience Required:

Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime

Must be at least 18 years of age

High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

Previousmanufacturing experience

Previousexperience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred

Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds and anything over will require team lifting techniques or the use of mechanical lifting devices

Must be able to work in hot, humid, and cold manufacturing environment 6+ hours per shift

Must be able to sit,stoop, reach above shoulders and climb and work off ladder/stairs for 3+hours per shift

Mustbe able to bend, crouch, and kneel for 6+ hours per shift

Must be able to stand, and walk for 8+ hours per shift

Must be able to perform simple grasping, and push/pull for 8+ hours per shift

Must be able to perform fine manipulation for 3+ hours per shift

Must be able to express or exchange ideasby means ofspoken or written work and distinguishobjector equipment visually.
