About the Position:
Service Manager is required to effectively lead and develop the service team to provide excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and technical abilities, understanding of financial objectives and is motivated to complete administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:
Supervise Service Department staff to develop and sustain a high level of employee performance, budget achievements, and morale that is highly aligned with our mission and core values.
Align and implement company policies, standard operating procedures, bulletins, and campaigns.
Schedule service work according to priority and maintain a consistent orderly workflow.
Advise customers of necessary repair services and preventative maintenance.
Create and ensure strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
Ensure that customer issues are resolved promptly according to company guidelines.
Analyze market demand to ensure present and future workflow availability.
Maintain dealer standards including but not limited to vehicles, facilities, tooling, and training.
Promptly evaluate and recondition trade-in equipment.
Ensure warranty claims are processed according to policy.
Complete PIP and campaign according to manufacturer guidelines.
Maintain in good condition all service tools and service vehicles.
Responsible for the maintaining safe facility, equipment, and operations.
Ensure service vehicles and drivers are properly maintained, road worthy, safe and in compliance with all regulations and company policies.
Ensure repairs are completed accurately, to dealer standards and inspects all completed work as appropriate.
Accountable for time record accuracy within the department including overtime, on call scheduling, and vacation approval.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
High School Diploma /GED required, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience preferred.
Five years of service/mechanical experience working with farm, heavy equipment, or diesel engines.
Successful experience in leading a team is required.
Proven track record in customer service and communications required.
Ability to use desktop or laptop computer, including Microsoft Office Suites is required.
