We are currently looking for a Sales Representative – Commercial to join us in our Chesapeake store:

The purpose of this position is to represent the Company for the purpose of selling Commercial Mowing and Compact Construction Equipment to customers within the Chesapeake MSA. Customers include Private Landscape Contractors, commercial businesses, and governmental agencies

BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Represents the Company for the sale of machinery, parts and handheld products to customers within local MSA.

· Serve as Account Manager for key Business to Business (B2B) customer accounts. Develops a deep understanding of each customer business, needs, challenges, and goals and work to develop solutions through unique combinations of Quality Equipment products and support. Documents key account activity in the Handle 2.0 CRM program.

· Prospects for new customers in local geographic area in customer segments which include Private Landscape Contractors, governmental agencies, construction contractors and other trades.

· Must keep current on product knowledge, features and benefits of all equipment that are sold by Quality Equipment, LLC. This involves a specific focus on commercial mowing equipment and Compact Construction Equipment.

· Keeps abreast of competitive activity and competitive products. Keeps abreast of trends in our customer’s business that will affect the products these customers will buy today and into the future.

· Maintains Company assets and other equipment (ex., vehicle, phone, computer) as assigned.

· Conducts product demonstrations at customer’s job site.

· Maintains in good, usable, and current condition (electronic and/or paper as directed) all manuals, price lists, and other documents given the individual by the Company. Accurately completes all documents related to sales transactions in a timely manner. This includes completing all required complete goods tickets, purchase orders, retail notes, customer down payments, etc., when completing a sale.

· Has a good knowledge of used equipment values and be able to evaluate properly for trading purposes.

· After completing a sale, follow ups with customer to make sure he/she is satisfied with the item and service provided by the dealership.

· Works closely with the store sales team and supervisor to manage the work schedule and maintain full store coverage. Participates in Saturday work schedule rotation when seasonal hours may dictate.

· Understands, supports, and promotes productions and services from all departments of Quality Equipment (parts and service). This specifically includes coordinating between customers and the Parts/Service Managers at various Quality Equipment locations in support of larger customers who utilize multiple dealership locations.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

· Good understanding of local conditions with a knowledge of sale and resale values of machinery.

· Must be a self-starter with good communication and inter-personal skills.

· Good computer skills.

· Positive attitude.

· Commercial mowing and/or construction background preferred.
