Store Manager Position Opening
Progressive Tractor & Implement Co., LLC (PTI) is a premiere Case-IH agriculture & construction equipment dealer with 28 locations serving Louisiana, Arkansas & Southwest Tennessee and is searching for the right candidate to lead one of its growing dealerships in South-West Louisiana as its Location Store Manager. This role has extensive responsibility in all aspects of dealership management including leading a professional sales team, parts department and service department. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining and growing customer relationships, managing customer service and other dealership issues.
The successful candidate for this position will have the following qualifications.
Education and/or Experience
- 4-year college degree in Agriculture business / mechanization a plus.
- 5+ years of sales experience with; and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Experience in the agriculture and/or construction equipment industry and management preferred.
Other Skills and Abilities
- Increased knowledge in the area(s) of heavy agricultural/construction equipment staying abreast of the latest trends, customer needs and competitor information.
- Knowledge of basic mechanics and technology as it relates to heavy agriculture/construction equipment; ability to operate equipment.
- Effective management skills of dealers' operations including ability to attain sales goals, inventory management, and attainment of acceptable dealership performance metrics.
- Selling skills and the ability to meet sales goals.
- General business knowledge includes finance, personnel, customer relations, accounting, computer skills and marketing. e.g., financial statements, pricing sheets, budgets, etc.
- Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships that encourage openness with customers, peers and the public; ability to handle complaints and develop resolutions.
- Demonstration of excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstration of strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work with OME's in the attainment of Company's business goals.
- Ability to develop interpersonal relationships with co-workers, staff, clients and the community to meet or exceed expectations.
