Job Posting: Farm Equipment Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable Ag Service Technician to perform service and maintenance on tractors, combines, other agricultural equipment, as well as various trucks and other vehicles. This role is critical to keeping our operations running smoothly. Primary responsibilities include: 

• Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining tractors, other agricultural machinery, and supporting vehicles to ensure optimal performance. 
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical issues. 
• Spray Drone Operations (training and certification assistance provided). 
• Operating agricultural equipment as needed. 
• Occasionally assisting in hog barns (minimal duties). 

Qualifications:

• 5+ Years of experience with mechanical repair and maintenance of tractors or heavy machinery required (prefer experience with Case IH equipment)
• Basic knowledge of agricultural operations is a plus but not required. 
• Willingness to learn drone spraying operations (no prior experience necessary; we will train). 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Ability to work independently and in various differing scenarios.
• Valid driver’s license required. 
• CDL preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting Pay: $25–$30 per hour, based on experience.

Work Environment:

This is a hands-on role in a dynamic farm setting. You’ll work outdoors and in shop environments, with occasional tasks in hog barns. We value teamwork, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.  As well as self-motivation and organization.  You will often be given a rough direction and expected to complete duties with little direction.
