As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shop and Parts Coordinator to help maintain the efficiency and quality of our operations.

Position Summary
The Shop and Parts Coordinator plays a critical role in managing daily shop operations, including parts inventory, work orders, preventative maintenance, and vendor coordination. This position supports production management in ensuring equipment is operational, safe, and ready to meet tight deadlines—especially during peak seasons like harvest. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organized, and passionate about equipment care and shop efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Shop & Parts Management:

• Maintain inventory levels for parts, tools, and supplies; conduct regular audits.
• Manage work orders and ensure timely completion of repairs and servicing.
• Coordinate external vendor repairs and equipment service schedules.
• Deliver parts to field locations as needed.
• Oversee shop tools and equipment upkeep.

Maintenance & Repairs:

• Oversee preventative maintenance programs for equipment and fleet vehicles.
• Track maintenance schedules, notify teams of upcoming service needs.
• Prioritize repair needs to minimize downtime during critical operations.

Cost & Vendor Coordination:

• Monitor shop expenses against budget targets.
• Handle warranty claims and credits.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Safety & Compliance:

• Lead and promote safe work practices in shop, yard, and field environments.
• Ensure shop operations align with Pacific Ag’s zero-injury goal.

Qualifications
Education & Certifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in agricultural equipment maintenance, parts coordination, or shop operations.
• Prior maintenance shop experience is required; agricultural shop experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with shop tools, equipment, and safety protocols.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance scheduling is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and adapt to changing schedules.
• Work environment includes exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, noise, grease, oil, and fuel.
• Occasional fieldwork during harvest in various weather conditions.
• Rare domestic travel may be required.
