Full-Time Farm Equipment Operator / Farm Hand

Oomen Farms Ltd. Inc is a progressive and growing agricultural operation seeking a dependable, motivated Full-Time Farm Equipment Operator / Farm Hand to join our production team. This role plays a key part in crop production, equipment operation, irrigation management, and supporting modern farming systems.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, values safety and professionalism, and wants to build a long-term career in agriculture. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train a motivated individual who is eager to learn and grow.

 Key Responsibilities

• Operate agricultural equipment in field and transport settings
• Support crop production including planting, cultivating, and harvesting
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs on equipment and trucks
• Monitor and maintain irrigation systems, including center pivot systems
• Maintain clean, organized equipment, vehicles, and workspaces
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards
• Perform farm-related truck driving and hauling
• Assist with additional farm duties based on seasonal needs

Qualifications & Skills

• Prior experience in farming, equipment operation, irrigation, or mechanical work preferred
• Experience in production farming and crop production strongly preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to troubleshoot and learn
• Ability to work long, flexible hours during peak seasonal periods
• Valid driver’s license required
• High level of reliability, accountability, and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a small team

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $18.00 - $28.00 (Compensation above the listed range may be offered for candidates with exceptional experience, certifications, or qualifications.)
