This position will work remotely to start and may have the opportunity to work remotely in the future.
What you will do:
Support the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) community in the creation and delivery of the compensation programs to leaders and employees within the Retail Business Unit, ensuring Nutrien’s workforce is positioned competitively and administered internally in an effective and equitable mannerProvide guidance and expertise to HRBPs regarding issues related to compensationProvide subject matter expertise on a variety of plans that may include wage rate, base pay, short and long-term incentives, as well as sales incentive plans for executive, staff and hourly employeesInterface with, and provide guidance to, multiple stakeholders outside of the Total Rewards Center of Excellence such as: HRBPs, HR Shared Service Center, Finance, business leaders and third-party consultants and data providersParticipate in and contribute to the design, development, implementation and communication to the business for the following compensation programs: base pay structures, incentive programs and equity plans that align to the overall compensation philosophyLead efforts to transfer knowledge on compensation programs and processes across the business through transparent discussion and effective listeningComplete job evaluation, market pricing, and participate in market surveysComplete annual competitive analysis of jobs and provide recommendations for program development Analyze and forecast the cost of current and potential compensation programsEnsure compensation programs align with business objectives and comply with all applicable laws and regulations Lead and participate in compensation projectsModel our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment Other duties as required
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree required, experience in lieu of degree may be consideredMinimum seven (7) years of experience in Human Resources including compensation requiredCertified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferredStrong knowledge of compensation programs and philosophiesKnowledge of broad HR principlesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient with utilizing software tools to extract, analyze, and present dataHighly proficient with Microsoft Office including (but not limited to) Excel (in particular), PowerPoint, and WordExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsPartner with and influence others to resolve complex and sensitive compensation challengesLead projects from concept through design, communication, and implementationFormulate recommendations and work with a high degree of autonomy
Salary Range $72,240 - 103,200 Annually
