Provide operational support across all Nitrogen sitesFacilitate classroom workshops on Safety LeadershipCoach leaders within Nutrien’s operations on how to effectively engage others in safetyEngage and challenge employees to strive for continuous safety performance improvementFacilitate appropriate coaching and training plans for leadersProvide leadership, feedback, and support for updating and improvements to the business unit safety strategyAttend safety meetings, present information and provide feedback as requiredProvide support for site and business unit special projects, as needed
What you will bring:
Minimum experience of 10 years in a chemical or refining facility, with supervisor experience preferredAbility to effectively facilitate learning in classroom and one-on-one environmentsAdvanced coaching skills, and the ability to support the development of othersMust be self–motivated and disciplined requiring little to no direct supervision, ability to concurrently deal with multiple projects, and meet deadlinesComputer literacy with Microsoft Office programsKnowledge of Canadian and US environmental, health, and safety regulationsKnowledge of company policies and guidelines with the ability to extract pertinent information from resource materials and incorporate into field practiceMust possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain constructive working relationships with all departments and all levels of leadershipThe incumbent will be required to travel to Nutrien’s Nitrogen Operations on a regular basis
