What you will do:
Provide training and mentoring the millwright team
Make recommendations for rotating equipment preventative and predictive maintenance
Coordinate rotating equipment work for large and small outages
Review Work Orders for proper planning, materials, and scheduling conflicts
Visit individual job sites to review work scope(s) and execution
Interface with Outside Rotating Equipment Vendors and Contractors to ensure scope and develop timely resolutions of problems
Responsible for the review and completion of work orders on a daily and weekly basis as required
Accountable to review and ensure the material required per equipment for each rotating job scope is correct
Ability to identify and order stocked and non-stocked material on an as needed basis
Review the Weekly Schedule – Insuring that all resources are available
Review existing work plans and develop new work plans and standards for repetitive jobs
Assist with vibration data gathering and review as necessary
Review and manage all special tools and ensure that the equipment being used is certified, calibrated, and stored properly
Ensure tools are ready for use as needed as well as stocked in the warehouse with a stock number and location and associated with the proper asset these tools are to be used with
Maintenance and calibration of Lasor Alignment tooling and accessories and the proper storage of this tooling
Maintain a work plan file by equipment and assets
Work with Engineering and Reliability departments as required to ensure technical standards and guidelines are being reviewed and executed
Review pipe and piping arrangements associated with the rotating equipment that it meets proper specifications to ensure correct alignment, torque, and pipe strain
Assess pipe alignment and strain and work with piping group to correct as necessary
Work with QC department to ensure flange make-up and torque has proper documentation applied to job plans
Review job boxes with parts, special tools, and work instructions
Assist in root cause failure identification and identify, rework, and develop a plan of action to eliminate this type of work
Update standard job plans (Asset Activities) for repeat routine jobs that have developed changes due to upgrades or process conditions
Ensure that post maintenance commissioning activities are complete, and the equipment is handed back to operations in a satisfactory condition ready for service
Review and assist in working with the Lubrication Program to ensure proper lubrication levels and specifications are met per asset
Work after-hours as plant needs dictate
All other duties as assigned
What you will bring:
A valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company standards and its insurers
Associates degree or aprenticeship program as a Millwright or Machinist in Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology or Construction Management preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years in Rotating Equipment Maintenance or Maintenance Supervisory experience in a chemical manufacturing operation or extensive related field experience
Knowledge of production systems and Rotating equipment
Experienced in pump and rotating equipment alignment
Knowledge of mechanical seals and seal piping plans is a must
Understand GDT and working with tight tolerances
Must have a working knowledge of Compressors, Turbines, Expanders, Gearboxes, and Pumps
3+ years of supervisory experience is required
Broad Working Knowledge of Technology and ANSI and API Codes/Standards as related to rotating equipment
Excellent oral and written skills and proficient in MS Excel
Ability to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential) as issued by TSA (Transportation Security Administration)
Ability to understand Isometric drawings, diagrams, and other sketches to communicate needs of the job
Ability to interpret OEM Technical and Service Manuals
Ability to effectively communicate, orally (face to face and by telephone) and in writing, in English with coworkers, contractors, government officials and Senior Management
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to accept direction and work effectively & cooperatively with other people

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be willing to work in protected areas at heights.
Must be able to reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
