We're excited to offer a full-time, permanent opportunity for a Sales Support Merchandise team member to join our Parkes branch, playing a key role in driving in-store sales and delivering outstanding service across our rural merchandise range.

What You'll Do:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll play an important role in supporting the overall success of the branch. You'll build strong relationships with a wide range of customers - from local farmers and producers to trade customers - while bringing a positive, can-do attitude to everything you do. You'll support the branch by:

• Performing day-to-day administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods
• Assisting customers with pricing and product queries
• Processing counter sales
• Assisting with merchandise campaign material
• Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment
• Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries
• Supporting the team wherever needed to help keep the branch running smoothly

What You'll Bring:

To be successful in this role, you'll bring previous experience in a team support or customer-focused role within a busy environment. You'll have a genuine interest in Australian farming and agriculture, with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise highly regarded.

• Experience working in a sales or customer service environment
• An energetic, can-do attitude with initiative and a practical problem-solving approach
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to build long-term customer relationships
• A proactive mindset with good organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to handle customer enquiries with empathy and confidence
• An interest in identifying opportunities to improve internal sales and branch processes
• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• A current driver's licence (essential)
