What You'll Do:

Reporting to the Branch Manager & Merchandise Manager you'll be joining a high-performing and passionate team.

• Provide agronomic and technical support to our farmers and producers in the region
• Product sales both in store and on farm
• Build solid and long-term client relationships
• Develop a strong understanding of the clients’ business goals
• Share technical and market information to enable clients to improve the performance and sustainability of their farming enterprises
• Maintain relationships with a list of existing customers
• Target new clients through the provision of superior sales and agronomic input.
• Keep relevant with latest plant production practices
• Run and coordinat field days and farmer meetings
• Be the go-to subject matter expert in the region for pasture production agronomic inputs and other advice

What You'll Bring:

• Prior experience as a trusted advisor in an agronomy role
• A solid understanding of the products, seasonal timings and general requirements of rural producers
• Experience in Pasture and Broadacre Agronomy
• Sound customer service, organisational, administrative and computing skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in understanding of the sales process and strong sales activity and call cycle management
• A tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field and a current driver’s license is essential
• Your experience in an agronomic advisory role related to agricultural chemicals and fertiliser will secure this rewarding role
