What You'll Do:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Support the day-to-day operations of our business
• Oversee sales and inventory across a diverse product range, including agricultural chemicals, fertilisers, and other merchandise
• Collaborate with store management, agronomists, and sales team to provide merchandise support - such as stocktakes, retail process improvements, on-farm meetings, technical guidance, and mentoring to drive performance
• Negotiate with suppliers, develop pricing strategies, and manage stock levels effectively
• Implement marketing initiatives to maintain a competitive position across all product lines
• Monitor and analyse market trends, seasonal conditions, and climatic factors to inform business decisions

What You'll Bring:

To be successful, you will ideally have a strong technical background with experience in a similar role. In addition, you will demonstrate: 

• Experience within pricing and margin management and sales target achievement through effective category development 
• Ability to network and identify opportunities for business development
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster solid long-term relationships
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Exposure to SAP ERP, together with strong MS Excel for reporting 
• Current Drivers Licence (Essential)
• Forklift and heavy rigid licence (Desirable)
