We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Technician Lead to join our Cohuna team.

What You'll Do:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will work as part of a team with a primary focus on leading projects in both the workshop and the field.

• Lead and coordinate the team in irrigation fabrications & installations, both within a workshop & in the field
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation
• Organise procurement lists of all materials required for each project
• Conduct repairs, both within a workshop environment or on-site as necessary, and respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Perform installation of irrigation systems and other related components as called upon by our customer base.
• Ensure all safety standard guidelines are strictly adhered to by conducting SWMS, regular plant & hazard inspections.
• Company vehicle supplied

What You'll Bring:

You are a driven, determined individual with the ability to forward plan so that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved. You love solving problems and have excellent planning and organisation skills. You will bring a can-do attitude and a strong work ethic. You will ideally come with:

• Previous relevant work experience, ideally with relevant Trade Qualifications, possibly in the Civil Plumbing, Building or Mechanical trades.
• Project management experience would be ideal.
• Role model behaviours must be exhibited in this position
• Previous experience leading others will be highly considered
• Experience with polyethylene welding & installation of HDPE irrigation systems is desirable, however, we are more than confident we can provide on the job training for the right candidate.
• Travel will be required at times for projects with time staying away.
• Current driver’s licence is essential.
• Truck, Forklift, and Crane licences are an advantage.
